Academics

Academics overview

A comprehensive, rigorous K-12 curriculum that prepares students for success in college, career, and life.

At GTA, we believe that every student has the potential to achieve great things, and our academic programs are designed to help them reach their full potential. Our curriculum is based on a blend of national and state standards, covering math, science, language arts and social studies, plus electives in the arts, foreign languages, and technology.

Teaching philosophy

Every student learns differently. Our highly qualified teachers use a variety of methods — technology, hands-on activities, real-world projects — to help students master concepts and develop critical thinking.

Class size

We keep class sizes small to ensure individual attention. Our student-teacher ratio is 12:1, allowing for personalized instruction and meaningful relationships between students and teachers.

College and career readiness

Our college counseling program guides students through applications, financial aid, and scholarships, while career and technical education courses offer hands-on training in health sciences, business, and technology.
